Did you find a jar of canned cherries in the pantry? Let's prepare a "Monastery hut". Delicious dough, sour cherries and sweet cream from sour cream combine just deliciously! And the beautiful look of the cake deserves special attention.

Ingredients

For Dough:
For filling:
  • Cherry (canned pitted) – 300 g
  • Sugar - 2 art.l.
For cream:

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Sift flour into a wide bowl. This will get rid of lumps, debris and saturate the flour with oxygen.

Add melted butter, lightly beaten egg, salt, sugar and sour cream.

Knead the soft dough, cover with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Put the canned cherries in a colander and mix with sugar.

Take the dough out of the refrigerator and divide it into three identical pieces.

Roll out a thin cake with a rolling pin and cut out a regular rectangle.

Cut the dough into identical strips about 5 centimeters wide.

Put a row of berries on each strip and seal tightly. Repeat the steps with the rest of the dough and filling.

Place the blanks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.

Beat sour cream, sugar and vanilla essence with a mixer until thick.

Put a layer of baked tubes on a wide dish, smear with cream.

Lay out the next layer a little shorter and smear with cream again. Continue to collect the cake, repeating the shape of the roof of the hut.

Brush generously with sour cream on top and put it in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours.

Cut the finished cake across, put it on a plate and serve it on the table.
