Rosehip is a classic base for homemade drinks. What they don't make out of it – teas, decoctions or even canned compote for the winter. I would like to focus on the latter option separately. Catch a recipe proven by years and practice!
Ingredients
- Rosehip - 1 kg
- Water - 1 l
- Sugar - 600 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil water with sugar and boil until dissolved.
Add the rosehip to the syrup and boil for a couple more minutes after re-boiling.
Put the berry in a jar.
Boil the syrup again, pour in the rosehip and roll up the compote.
