You may be surprised, but you can make real apple jelly without gelatin. The process is quite long, but simple. First, a decoction of fruit is prepared, and then with the addition of sugar, it languishes on a minimum heat for about an hour.

Ingredients

  • Apples - 2 kg
  • Sugar - 1,2 kg
  • Water - 1,2 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the apples into quarters, peel the seeds and put them in a saucepan.

Add water and simmer for 30 minutes over low heat.

Collect soft fruits in cheesecloth and squeeze well.

Mix the remaining broth with sugar and boil until thick. On average, it takes up to 1 hour.

Transfer the finished jelly into clean, dry jars and roll up.
