Plum is an excellent base for thick jam, because by nature it contains a lot of pectin and does not need additional thickeners. Moreover, such jam can be made in different ways: both homogeneous and pitted slices.

Ingredients

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the plum into slices, cover with sugar and leave for a couple of hours or overnight.

Bring to a boil and cook the jam for about 30-40 minutes on low heat, stirring, until thick.

Add the cinnamon towards the end of cooking.

Roll the hot jam into sterile jars.
