Most often, compote is rolled from cherries – historically it happened that way. But what about cherries? In fact, it also makes excellent blanks. Also quite inexpensive, if you do everything in the height of the season. Try it on occasion!

Ingredients

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the cherries, remove the twigs and put them in sterile jars.

Pour boiling water, cover and leave for 10 minutes.

Drain the water, boil it again, and repeat the last step.

Drain the water again and boil it for the third time, this time with sugar.

Pour the syrup over the cherries and roll them up.
