Do you like lentils? Then you will definitely like this delicious soup. With pork, rice and green lentils, it turns out incredibly thick, fragrant and delicious. It is best served with croutons, crackers or buckwheat loaves.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the lentils and soak them in cold water for 4 hours.

Wash the pork, cut it into small pieces and put it in a saucepan.

Add bay leaf, cold water and cook for 40 minutes. Remove the foam that will appear in the process.

Peel and slice potatoes, carrots, onions and bell peppers.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion and carrot until golden brown.

Add the bell pepper and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes.

Add garlic, turmeric and a couple of spoonfuls of broth from the pan passed through the press. Soak everything together for 5 minutes.

Pour lentils, washed rice, potatoes and roast into a saucepan with meat. Cook for 15 minutes.

Pepper, salt and remove from heat. Let the soup brew for 10-15 minutes before serving.
