Everyone probably knows the Georgian sauce. It is prepared from sour cherry plum with the addition of various seasonings. Recently, I tried tkemali with walnuts from a neighbor. The recipe turned out to be quite simple. Today I will share it with you.
Ingredients
- Cherry Plum - 2 kg
- Walnuts - 500 g
- Garlic - 50 g
- Utsho-suneli - 0,5 tsp.
- Hop-suneli - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tbsp.l.
- Salt - 15 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the cherry plum with water, boil for 20 minutes and put it in a colander.
Soft plums mash and peel from the seeds.
Puree the mass in a blender until smooth.
Add salt, sugar, spices, chopped nuts and garlic passed through the press.
Boil for 5-7 minutes, spread out in sterilized jars and roll up.
