I offer you a proven recipe for pears in their own juice. I recommend cooking from fruits with hard pulp. It is not necessary to remove the peel, but in my opinion, it is more beautiful and tastier. Spice lovers can add a little cinnamon or cloves.

Ingredients

  • Pear - 2 kg
  • Sugar - 1 kg
  • Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut pears, peel and seeds, chop.

Mix sugar with citric acid.

Fill the pears with the resulting mixture and leave for 2 hours at room temperature.

Arrange the fruit into jars, evenly distribute the resulting juice.

Sterilize for 15 minutes, roll up and wrap up for a day with a thick towel.
