It is not always possible to wait until Korean carrots are infused. This recipe is suitable for such cases. The vegetable is poured with hot brine and ready for use in a minute. It is convenient to prepare such a snack when guests suddenly descended.
Ingredients
- Carrots - 600 g
- Garlic - 3 clove
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l .
- Apple cider vinegar - 1,5 tbsp.l .
- Ground red pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 art.l.
- Water (boiled) – 120 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the carrots and grate them on a special grater.
Add garlic, salt, red pepper passed through the press and mix.
In a small saucepan, mix water, sugar, vinegar, oil and bay leaf. Bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat.
Pour hot brine over the carrots and mix again. The snack is ready to eat.
