Usually, in order not to waste time, compote is cooked from cherries with pits. But if you or your children like to finish the boiled berries later, I advise you to get rid of them right away. It's a little longer, but it will be much more convenient. And the drink will only benefit from this.

Ingredients

  • Cherry - 800 g
  • Sugar - 7 art.l.
  • Water - 1.5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Remove the seeds from the cherry, cover with sugar, mix and leave for 10 minutes.

Pour hot water and bring the compote to a boil.

Cook for another 7 minutes on low heat and let cool under the lid.
