If you are a follower of classic dishes, you will surely like the recipe for pea soup with boiled sausage and tomatoes. A fragrant and rich treat is prepared simply, but not quickly. The time can be shortened a little, only after soaking the peas.
Ingredients
- Peas (stabbed) – 250 g
- Boiled sausage - 350 g
- Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Tomatoes - 200 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Green onion - 2 of the stem
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.l.
- Tomato sauce - 3 art.l.
- Black Pepper - 3 peas
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 3 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the peas thoroughly and cover with cold water for 2 hours.
Put the peas in a colander, rinse again and pour into a saucepan with clean water. Cook for 1 hour on low heat.
Chop the sausage, tomatoes, peeled onions and potatoes. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Add tomatoes, sausage, tomato sauce and continue frying for another 5-7 minutes.
In a saucepan with peas, pour the roast, potatoes and black pepper with peas. Boil for 10 minutes.
Add salt and turn it off. Infuse the soup under the lid for 15 minutes.
When serving, add chopped green onions.
