Basically, porridge is made from dried peas. But today I want to share with you a bright and fresh version of green peas. The dish will perfectly complement any chopped greens – from parsley and cilantro to mint and basil.
Ingredients
- Green peas - 800 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Cream (bold) – 150 ml
- Milk - 100 ml
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the peas with water, add the coarsely chopped onion and boil over medium heat for 15-20 minutes after boiling.
Put the vegetables in a colander. Add cream and mash everything with a masher.
If the porridge is too thick, add milk. Season to taste.
