A great recipe for fluffy pancakes on kefir. You can cook with corn flour or add a little wheat flour, as I do. Kefir should be warm, but not overheated. Otherwise, it will curdle and the desired reaction with the baking powder will not occur.
Ingredients
- Kefir (warm) – 180 ml
- Corn flour - 5 art.l.
- Flour - 2 tbsp.l .
- Baking powder - 0,5 tsp.
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Greenery - a couple of twigs
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Sugar - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable oil (for frying) – 100 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Add salt, sugar, ground pepper and lightly beaten egg to warm kefir.
Add both types of flour and baking powder in small portions.
Add chopped herbs and garlic. Mix well until smooth.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, lay out the islands of dough and fry until golden brown on both sides.
