The most difficult part when working with dogwood is to get rid of the bones. This is even longer than with cherries, because they are not easily removed. It is for this reason that I prefer to always leave them as far as possible. Here in this jam they do not interfere at all.
Ingredients
- Dogwood - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Water - 1 glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour sugar with water and boil until dissolved.
Pour the cornel syrup and let it cool.
Bring the billet to a boil and cook for 40 minutes on low heat, stirring.
Roll up the jam for the winter in sterile jars.
