Peach jam won't surprise anyone, but for some reason nectarines are still less popular. I want to restore justice, and I am happy to share with you a recipe from them. By the way, it will be even more interesting if you mix several varieties at once in one jam.
Ingredients
- Nectarine - 1 kg
- Sugar - 800 g
- Lemon zest - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the bones from the nectarines and cut them arbitrarily.
Cover with sugar and leave for a couple of hours.
Bring to a boil and boil the jam for 5 minutes. Remove it from the heat and let it cool.
Repeat the previous step.
Add the zest and boil the jam for another 5 minutes.
Roll it up in sterilized jars.
