Delicious, juicy and fragrant melon has only one drawback – its seasonality. That's why I really like to make blanks out of it. In the end, the worse it is than the more familiar fruits and berries. Today I will share my favorite recipe for melon compote for the winter.
Ingredients
- Melon - 1 kg
- Water - 1.5 l
- Sugar - 200 g
- Citric acid - 2 pinches
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the melon pulp, cut into pieces and put it in a sterilized jar.
Boil water with sugar. Boil for 3 minutes.
Add citric acid.
Fill the melon and roll up the jar.
