If you are lucky enough to get a harvest of vegetable physalis, the question immediately arises – what to do with it next. And I already have the answer! Catch a wonderful caviar recipe. Roll it up in sterile jars and store it in a dark, cool place.

Ingredients

  • Physalis - 2 kg
  • Carrots - 1 kg
  • Onion - 1 kg
  • Parsley - 1 bundle
  • Vegetable oil - 2 glasses
  • Salt - 2 tbsp.l.
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp.l.
  • Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
  • Vinegar - 2 art.l.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the physalis and chop it coarsely. Similarly, chop the onion and carrot.

Fry everything separately in oil until soft.

Pass through a meat grinder, add salt and sugar, and simmer until desired density.

At the end, add chopped herbs, spices and vinegar.

Roll the caviar from vegetable physalis into sterile jars.
