Even if you do not live in a hot climate, it will not be difficult to buy figs. It is often sold in supermarkets and fruit markets. Buy a couple of kilograms and cook exotic fig jam. I suggest cooking in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • Fig - 2 kg
  • Sugar - 1 kg
  • Citric acid - on the tip of the knife

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash, dry and peel the figs.

Cut the figs into small pieces, put them in a bowl of a slow cooker and cover with sugar. The workpiece should stand at room temperature for a couple of hours.

Add citric acid, close the lid and activate the "Baking" mode for 1 hour.

After the beep, put the jam into jars and roll it up.
