Continuing the theme of natural sweets, I will tell you the recipe for dogwood pastille. You will prepare dessert at home using the most common products and a gas oven. You won't even need a mixer, because the boiled berries are rubbed through a sieve.
Ingredients
- Dogwood - 1 kg
- Sugar - 350 g
- Water - 1,5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Place the dogwood in a saucepan, fill with water and boil for 15 minutes.
Drain the water, rub the soft berries through a sieve.
Mix cornel puree with sugar.
Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently. The mass should thicken strongly.
Cover the baking sheet with baking paper, lay out the dogwood puree with a layer of about 0.5 cm and smooth it out.
Dry for 8 hours in the oven at 70 degrees. It is recommended to keep the door ajar.
Separate the finished pastille from the paper, cut it and roll it into tubes.
