Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the carrots and boil until soft.
Cut the apples, add a couple of tablespoons of water and also simmer until soft.
Grind the apples through a sieve, chop the carrots with a blender and mix both purees.
Add sugar and spices as desired.
Boil the puree for 10 minutes on low heat.
Place the pastille in a thin layer on the parchment-lined drying trays.
Dry at 50-70 degrees for about 6-8 hours.
