In the list of my favorite summer desserts, not the last place is occupied by a pastille made of black currant. I cook it with sugar, sometimes I add vanilla, cinnamon or other spices according to the mood. Try this recipe too. I'm sure the household will appreciate your efforts.
Ingredients
- Black Currant - 1 kg
- Sugar - 150 g
- Corn oil - 2 tbsp.l .
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Sort the black currant, peel it from the dry tails, chop it in a blender.
Add sugar and simmer for 20 minutes.
Cover the trays of the electric dryer with parchment paper, lubricate with corn oil.
Put the currant puree in a thin layer and dry for 6-8 hours at 65 degrees.
Separate the finished pastille from the paper, cut and roll.
