You've probably seen this beautiful asparagus in bacon in movies and cooking shows. Many of us still consider it to be some kind of complex and incomprehensible ingredient. But it is prepared no more difficult than any other vegetable. I'm telling you more!
Ingredients
- Asparagus - 20 pieces
- Bacon - 150 g
- Olive oil - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 pinch
- A mixture of peppers with peas (ground) – 1 pinch
- Thyme (dried) – 1 pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut off the asparagus hard tips – they are not used in cooking.
Boil the water, put the asparagus in it and boil for 5 minutes, and then immediately transfer to a container with ice.
Sprinkle the bacon generously with spices and salt on one side.
When the asparagus has cooled, dry it with a paper towel and wrap the bacon slices with the seasoned side inside. Small stems can be collected in small bundles.
Preheat the grill pan, brush it with olive oil and quickly fry the asparagus on all sides until the bacon is browned.
