Vitamin drink can be prepared all year round using fresh and frozen berries. Cooking cranberry jelly with starch is very simple. The amount of sugar indicated in the recipe can be changed to your taste, but do not forget that cranberries are sour berries.
Ingredients
- Cranberries - 200 g
- Starch - 4 art.l.
- Sugar - 160 g
- Water - 2,2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the cranberries in a saucepan and mash them thoroughly with a pusher.
Pour 2 liters of water and boil for 5 minutes.
Strain through a strainer or a double layer of gauze.
Mix the resulting liquid with sugar and bring it to a boil again.
Mix the starch with the remaining water.
Pour a thin stream of the blank with starch into the boiling compote and cook for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
