Every barista has their own “secret” recipe for making macchiato coffee. Whichever option you use, the ingredients of the drink are always the same: espresso and a small amount of whipped milk. Will we prepare a coffee drink at home?
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Grind the coffee beans in a coffee grinder and place them in a turk.
Pour cold water over the coffee and bring it to a boil over low heat. Remove the turk from the heat and let the thick settle.
Heat the milk to 70-80 °C, add sugar, stir. Whisk the milk into a foam using a blender, mixer or cappuccino maker.
Pour the foamed milk carefully into a cup or a clear glass. Do not pour all the milk at once: fill the cup by about 40%, the rest of the milk will still be useful for decorating the surface of the drink.
Pour hot freshly brewed coffee in a thin stream into the center of the cup with milk foam. Try not to mix the layers.
Put the remaining milk foam on the surface of the coffee (dotted or in the form of a pattern). The coffee drink is ready!
