Do you want to surprise your guests with a new version of the Mimosa salad? A popular dish will become even tastier if you replace canned food with red fish. Moreover, it is not necessary to buy fillets, it may even be trimmings. They will still have to be finely chopped.
Ingredients
- Red Fish (lightly salted) – 400 g
- Processed cheese - 3 pieces
- Chicken eggs (boiled) – 5 pieces
- Potatoes (boiled) – 400 g
- Carrots (boiled) – 3 pieces
- Dill - 4 twigs
- Mayonnaise - 100 ml
- Ground black pepper (coarse grinding) – to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the red fish into small cubes.
Peel the eggs from the shell, divide into whites and yolks, grate.
Grate the processed cheese and peeled potatoes.
Grate two carrots, cut one into thin long plates and set aside.
Chop half of the dill, leave the rest for decoration.
Put a layer of potatoes on a wide plate, season with salt and pepper.
Brush with mayonnaise, add a layer of melted cheese.
Lay out the red fish mixed with dill. Pepper and smear with mayonnaise.
Put the whites and carrots next. Add salt, pepper and mayonnaise again.
Sprinkle yolks thickly on top, garnish with dill and carrot flowers.
Sprinkle the salad with ground pepper and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
