Recently, I really liked the combination of meat and nuts, so I tried to cook cabbage rolls with beef and walnuts. It turned out so delicious that the next day my household was already asked to repeat. I'm sharing a recipe with you!

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut out the stalk and place the cabbage in a pot of boiling water.

Periodically remove the cabbage from the pan and remove the finished leaves with a fork. Continue the procedure until you remove all the appropriate leaves.

Wash the rice, put it in a deep bowl and pour boiling water for 15 minutes.

Fry walnuts in a dry frying pan and grind in a blender.

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, peel the onion from the husk and finely chop.

In a preheated frying pan with oil, fry the onion until golden brown, add the carrots and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.

Select part of the roast for the filling, add tomato sauce to the rest, 1 cup of broth and boil for 10 minutes.

Mix the minced meat, roast, egg, nuts, rice, ground black pepper and salt. Mix the mass thoroughly with your hands.

Put a little minced meat on the edge of the cabbage leaf and roll it into an envelope. Repeat the steps with the remaining leaves.

Cover the bottom of the pan with cabbage leaves, lay cabbage rolls loosely on top.

Add boiling broth, tomato roast, salt and simmer for 1 hour over low heat.
