The blackberry itself is a bit bland, although very bright and fragrant. But in combination with other berries, like gooseberries, it plays with completely new colors. I share an excellent recipe for jam for the winter, which will not leave anyone indifferent.
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 800 g
- Blackberries - 800 g
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Water - 100 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the gooseberries with water and boil until soft.
Add the blackberries and cook for another 5 minutes.
Rub the whole berry through a sieve and bring it to a boil again.
Gradually add sugar, boil the jam for 15-20 minutes and roll it into sterile jars.
