Plum for winter can be rolled up in different ways. I prefer to take it apart into halves. But at the same time, roll it up in the form of compote, not jam. Compote is not so sweet, and even two in one – a drink and ready-made fruit for dessert.

Ingredients

  • Plums - 1.5 kg
  • Water - 1.5-2 l
  • Sugar - 2 glasses
  • Lemon juice - 2 tbsp.l .

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Disassemble the plums into halves, remove the seeds and put the fruit in sterile jars.

Pour boiling water, leave for 10 minutes under the lid, drain this water and boil it again.

Repeat the previous step completely.

Add sugar and lemon juice to the water, pour boiling syrup over the plum again and roll up the jars.
