It's hard to imagine a pantry that doesn't have at least a few jars of compote from apples and pears. This is a delicious and healthy drink that anyone can prepare. The amount of sugar depends on how sweet your fruit is.

Ingredients

  • Apples - 500 g
  • Pear - 500 g
  • Sugar - 250 g
  • Lemon juice - 100 ml
  • Water (filtered) – 5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the fruit and sprinkle with lemon juice. This will warn them against darkening.

Place the apples and pears in jars, taking up no more than one-third.

Pour boiling water and leave for 30 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil again. Add sugar and boil for 2 minutes.

Pour the boiling syrup into jars of fruit, roll up and wrap up with a warm blanket.
