Fig jam can be made both independently and in combination with pieces of nuts, orange and lemon. To get the necessary consistency, pass the fruits through a meat grinder and you will get a thick, sweet jam.
Ingredients
- Figs - 1 kg
- Sugar - 700 gr
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the figs and pass them through a meat grinder. Cover with sugar, mix well and send to cook over medium heat.
Boil the jam for 20 minutes and leave to cool. Stir and cook again. Cook for another 20 minutes.
Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars and roll up.
