Every autumn I prepare thick jam from mountain ash. I choose these berries, because they have incredible healing properties and are even used as a medicine in folk medicine. I advise you to have natural medicines at home.

Ingredients

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Before making jam, rinse the berries well and remove the cuttings, leaves and rotten berries.

Pass the rowan through the meat grinder. I choose a medium nozzle, so the jam turns out thick, but you can feel the pieces of berries in your mouth.

Mix berries with sugar, put on fire. Stir constantly and cook for 40 minutes. The excess liquid will evaporate, and you will get the necessary density.

Sterilize the jars, pour the jam into them and roll up. Store in a dark place.
