Classic lecho is Bulgarian pepper and tomatoes. But I really like to experiment with such classic recipes. Therefore, I suggest, for example, to try to cook such a lecho not with red, but with green tomatoes.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the green tomatoes into slices.

Randomly chop the rest of the vegetables, mix everything together and add the butter with the omat sauce.

Bring the mass to a boil and simmer for half an hour.

Add salt, sugar and pepper, and simmer for another hour on low heat.

5 minutes before the end, pour vinegar into the lecho.

Roll it up in sterilized jars.
