Tomatoes make up most of my blanks. I try to close them in small batches and according to different recipes. Somehow I cooked tomatoes with mint. It turned out very unusual and delicious! Mint flavor gives the dish a peculiar shade!

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes - 5 kg
  • Mint - 50 g
  • Dill - 50 g
  • Garlic - half a head
  • Sugar - 150 g
  • Salt - 120 g
  • Vinegar - 120 ml
  • Water - 3,5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash tomatoes, mint and dill.

Peel the garlic from the husk and cut into large pieces.

Place garlic, tomatoes, mint and dill in prepared jars.

Pour boiling water to the top, cover with a lid and set aside for 20 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil again.

Add sugar and salt to the jars of tomatoes.

Pour vinegar, boiling water and roll up. Turn it upside down and wrap it with a thick towel.
