Even if you don't remember the enchanting appearance of Ankle Bens ketchup, you will definitely like this recipe. It should be prepared from juicy, ripe and fragrant tomatoes. From spices, it is enough to add a little ground pepper and garlic.

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes - 3 kg
  • Onion - 350 g
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Vinegar - 120 ml
  • Ground black pepper - 1 tsp.
  • Sugar - 75 g
  • Salt - 60 g

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel tomatoes and cut into small pieces.

Peel the onion and garlic from the husk and chop.

Put all the blanks in a saucepan, add ground pepper.

Grind with an immersion blender until smooth.

Add sugar, salt and boil over low heat for 50 minutes.

Pour in the vinegar, put it in sterilized jars and roll it up.
