How many times have boiling jam been splashed on you? From just one thought, panic begins and I want to quit everything. Fortunately, there is a way out — you can use the oven. I tell you the details of this method using the example of a recipe for thick apple jam.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the apples into quarters, peel the seeds and chop.
Scald the lemon with boiling water, cut in half and squeeze out the juice.
Put the apple slices in a saucepan, add sugar and lemon juice. Cover with a lid and leave for 2-3 hours.
Put the pan on low heat and cook for 10 minutes.
With an immersion blender, grind the mass to a homogeneous state.
Cover the pan with a lid and put it in the oven for 2 hours, preheated to 160 degrees.
Put the hot jam in clean, dry jars and roll it up.
