For me, cooking is one of the most exciting activities, especially when it comes to canning for the winter. Cherry plum tkemali is one of my favorite recipes that I often cook for the winter. This sauce is perfect for marinating meat and giving it an original taste.
Ingredients
- Cherry Plum - 1.5 kg
- Hot red pepper - 1 piece
- Garlic - 3 heads
- Parsley - 1 bundle
- Ground coriander - 1 art.l.
- Dill (seeds) – 1 tbsp.l.
- Fenugreek - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 5 art.l.
- Salt - 2 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the cherry plum with water, boil it for 10 minutes and rub it through a sieve from the seeds and skin.
Chop garlic, parsley and pepper in a blender. Add to the cherry plum.
Boil the sauce for 20 minutes and add all the spices.
Boil the tkemali for another 15-20 minutes and roll it into sterilized jars.
