The popular dessert is prepared all over the world in the most incredible variations. I somehow came across a recipe for caramel tiramisu and of course I did not miss the opportunity to try it. Caramel syrup and melted sugar give tiramisu a special taste.
Ingredients
- Savoyardi Cookies - 15 pieces
- Cream cheese - 350 g
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
- Butter - 20 g
- Powdered sugar - 150 g
- Sugar - 1 tbsp.l.
- Salt - on the tip of the knife
- Cognac - 1 tbsp.l.
- Coffee (espresso) – 200 ml
- Syrup - 50 ml
- Cocoa (for sprinkling) – 2 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Divide the eggs into whites and yolks.
Whisk the whites with salt until fluffy.
Rub the yolks with powdered sugar until white.
Mix the yolk mass with cream cheese and beat well with a mixer.
Add the whipped whites in small portions and mix gently.
Melt the sugar in a frying pan. Turn off the heat, add the butter, stir and cool slightly.
Mix the cream, melted sugar and Salted Caramel syrup.
Place a little cream on the bottom of the prepared cups.
Mix cognac and coffee in a wide cup.
Dip the cookies in the fragrant mixture and put them in cups, add the cream. At the same time, cookies can be broken, adjusting to the size of the dishes used.
Continue to fill the cups with cookies, alternating layers with cream.
Put the remaining cream on top and sprinkle with cocoa.
