One of the most unusual winter preparations in my arsenal is this vegetable salsa. In fact, its composition can be almost anything. The whole secret is in very fine slicing and dense stacking of ingredients in a jar.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Purple onion - 1 piece
- Cilantro - 1 bundle
- Corn - 100 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Garlic - 6 teeth
- Zucchini - 1 piece
- Celery - 1 piece
- Chili pepper - 1 pod
- Water - 1 l
- Vegetable oil - 1 art.l.
- Vinegar - 70 ml
- Sugar - 1 art.l.
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 art.l. to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop all the vegetables, herbs, garlic and chili pepper as small as possible.
Add corn and any spices to taste, depending on the desired sharpness. Stir and immediately tamp tightly into jars.
Bring the water to a boil, dissolve salt and sugar in it and boil for a minute.
Pour the oil and vinegar into the jars, pour the marinade and boil the jars in a saucepan with water for 10 minutes. Roll up the salad.
