  • Gooseberry - 1 kg
  • Water - 2 l
  • Sugar - 2 glasses
  • Citric acid - 1 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the gooseberries, remove all the garbage and put it in a sterile jar.

Cover with sugar and pour boiling water. Leave for 5-7 minutes under the lid.

Drain the syrup, bring it to a boil again and pour over the gooseberries for another 5-7 minutes.

Drain and boil the syrup again, add citric acid, pour in the berry and roll up the compote for the winter.
