Winter compotes are good because you can roll up literally any fruit. For example, I share my favorite recipe of yellow plum. I advise you to use the whole fruit without removing the bones – it's much faster and more convenient.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the plum, put it in sterile jars, pour boiling water and leave for 10 minutes under the lids.
Drain the water and boil it with sugar, lemon zest and juice.
Strain the syrup back into the jar and roll it up.
