Five minutes is my favorite jam–making technology. On the one hand, it takes time, because the workpiece needs to cool down between cooking cycles. On the other hand, the amount of effort is minimal. I tell you by the example of peach jam!
Ingredients
- Peaches - 1.5 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the seeds from the peaches, finely chop and cover with sugar.
Leave for a couple of hours.
Bring the peaches to a boil, boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat and let cool.
Repeat the previous step.
Boil the peaches again for 5 minutes, add citric acid and roll the jam into sterilized jars.
