- Melon - 1 kg
- Sugar - 150 g
- Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.
- Water - 1 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the melon in half, remove the seeds and peel.
Cut into small pieces and place in prepared jars.
Pour boiling water and leave for 25-30 minutes.
Drain the water into a saucepan, boil for 3 minutes and pour it back into the jars.
After half an hour, drain the cooled syrup into a saucepan, add sugar and citric acid and boil for 2 minutes.
Pour the boiling syrup into the jars and roll up.
