A great recipe for lovers of vegetable snacks. Cabbage salad is prepared very simply. Chopping vegetables takes most of the time. To speed up this process, use a food processor or a special shredder.

Ingredients

  • Cabbage - 3 kg
  • Carrots - 500 g
  • Bay leaf - 3 pieces
  • Black Pepper - 10 peas
  • Allspice - 5 peas
  • Vinegar - 250 ml
  • Vegetable oil - 200 ml
  • Sugar - 80 g
  • Salt - 100 g

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Chop the cabbage into thin strips.

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Mix the vegetables, add sugar, salt and lightly mash with your hands.

Add spices, oil, mix and leave for 1 hour.

Arrange the salad in jars and sterilize for 10 minutes.

Carefully remove the jars and sterilization trays, add vinegar and roll up.
