Nightshade jam

I am glad to share with you the recipe of one of my favorite winter preparations. This is nightshade jam with its extraordinary taste and aroma. It differs from the usual berry or fruit. In addition, they will not be too cloying – a very harmonious taste.


  • Nightshade - 1 kg
  • Water - 1 glass
  • Sugar - 1 kg
  • Citric acid - 1 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Fill the nightshade with water, bring to a boil and boil for 20 minutes.

Grind it through a sieve.

Add sugar and citric acid, and bring to a boil again.

Boil the jam for another 20 minutes and pour into sterilized jars.
