Over the years, the usual dishes get boring, but this does not happen with lecho. The snack always pleases with its multifaceted taste. In addition, it is worth changing the recipe a little and something new already turns out. So, I present you a new version of the Bulgarian pepper lecho with tomatoes and vinegar.
Ingredients
- Bell pepper - 2 kg
- Tomatoes - 1,5 kg
- Onion - 500 g
- Garlic - 100 g
- Vegetable oil - 150 ml
- Vinegar - 120 ml
- Allspice - 4 peas
- Black Pepper - 6 peas
- Salt - 3 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pass tomatoes through a juicer.
Add spices, salt, oil and boil for 10 minutes.
Chop the peeled bell pepper and onion.
Pour the chopped vegetables and garlic passed through the press into a saucepan with tomato preparation.
Boil everything together for 15 minutes and pour in the vinegar.
Spread the boiling lecho in clean, dry jars, roll it up and turn it upside down.
