If you are lucky enough to live in places where exotic fruits grow, be sure to make jam from yellow figs. This variety is famous for its delicate peel. It is not necessary to cut it, which means that the preparatory process is greatly simplified.
Ingredients
- Fig (yellow) – 2 kg
- Sugar - 1,2 kg
- Lemon juice - 50 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut off the hard tails from the figs.
Pass the fruit through a meat grinder or chop it in a blender.
Add sugar and set aside for 1 hour.
Put on low heat, boil for 10 minutes and set aside for 40-60 minutes.
Bring the mass to a boil again, pour in lemon juice and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.
Fill sterilized jars with hot jam and roll them up.
