For all its simplicity, this compote is one of the most unusual recipes in my book. Firstly, the combination of gooseberries with raspberries is interesting in itself. Secondly, basil is also added here, which gives the drink a new flavor and shade.
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 400 g
- Raspberry - 400 g
- Lemon - 0.5 pieces
- Basil - 4 leaf
- Sugar - 4-5 art.l.
- Water - 1.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Sort and rinse the berry, coarsely pick the basil and cut the lemon into circles.
Fill everything with water and bring to a boil.
Add sugar, stir and cook the compote for 7-10 minutes on low heat.
Strain and cool the drink.
