It's easy to make a delicious salad. Use your favorite foods, try and experiment with spices. I like a simple salad of pickled mushrooms and seaweed. It is light, appetizing and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the onion and cut it into thin half rings.

Mix the onion with apple cider vinegar, cover with cling film and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.

Chop the pickled mushrooms.

Mix the seaweed, mushrooms and pickled onions.

Add spices, salt, vegetable oil and mix.

The finished salad can be sprinkled with sesame seeds or chopped green onions.
