Today I want to share with you a great recipe for chickpea hummus and peanuts. Roasted nuts give the snack an amazing spicy taste and sweet aroma. It is not necessary to overexpose them in a frying pan, it is enough just to dry them thoroughly.

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas - 300 g
  • Peanuts - 200 g
  • Tahini - 2 tbsp.l .
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Olive oil - 50 ml
  • Lemon juice - 40 ml
  • Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
  • Salt (without slide) – 1 tsp.
  • Water - 2,5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pre-soak chickpeas in cold water for 4 hours.

Flip into a colander, rinse, pour in fresh water and boil for 40 minutes.

Drain two thirds of the liquid. Collect the rest of the broth in a separate container.

Put the peanuts in a dry frying pan and lightly fry.

Place boiled chickpeas, peanuts and peeled garlic cloves in the blender bowl.

Add oil, lemon juice, tahini, salt, ground pepper and grind until smooth.

Pour in the warm broth, adjusting the consistency of the finished hummus. Turn on the blender for another 2 minutes.
