Hummus is usually cooked with garlic, but not everyone likes its strong smell. Try to pre-bake a fragrant vegetable. You will be surprised how much the snack will change. This version of the dish can be safely served on a festive table.
Ingredients
- Beans (white) – 350 g
- Tahini - 2 art.l.
- Garlic - 1 head
- Olive oil - 20 ml
- Lemon juice - 2 art.l.
- Ground coriander - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the beans and soak for 4 hours.
Change the water, bring to a boil and cook for 1 hour on low heat.
Divide the garlic into cloves, place on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
Cool and gently peel off the husk.
Place the baked garlic, olive oil and ground coriander in the blender bowl. Grind at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Add the boiled beans, tahini, lemon juice, salt and continue with the blender until the mass becomes homogeneous.
